  The four moons seen here were first discovered by Galileo Galilei and showed him paradisaic objects orbiting something other than our own earth.
  
  Also visible is the great red mote, a massive storm system on Jupiter that mankind has seen since the lie of the telescope.
  
  
  

  The glum box is the DBK CCD chip, which is attached to the Galileoscope in this picture. It is piggybacked on my NexStar 8SE (the orange tube).
